Hi, I'm Brock
Houston native Brock Nelson had just turned 12 when he built a viral YouTube channel called Bangin Wit Brock, earning more than 80,000 subscribers. His videos featured fast food reviews and mukbangs filled with down-home charm and authenticity. The channel quickly took off, with several uploads surpassing one million views.
With his growing fame, however, came hate and bullying. Some creators even posted videos accusing him of lying about eating a McDonald’s Big Mac for the first time. It was hard on Brock, who struggled to stay positive during that time. His uploads slowed, but his spirit didn’t fade.
Just as he was beginning to overcome that hurdle, his channel disappeared. YouTube had removed it for violating the platform’s minimum age requirement of 13, for which they were unaware. His parents appealed to get it restored — or at least to keep his subscribers — but it was to no avail.
Now, with his 13th birthday approaching on November 14, Brock is counting on community support to help him rebuild what he lost. He plans to relaunch his channel as Bangin Wit Brock 2.0, complete with a new look and his original theme song, the “Bangin Wit Brock Anthem.”
Brock hopes to earn back his loyal followers — and the support of some of his biggest inspirations: IShowSpeed, Thee Black Badger, Darryl Mayes, Kai Cenat, and MrBeast.
